Title: More Than Human: Challenging human centred worldviews in higher education teaching practice

This workshop will focus on challenging human-centred worldviews and engaging with relational worldviews in higher education to respond to climate change. Participants will engage in a worked example of a learning experience to illustrate how the philosophy translates into educational practice and they will draw upon this to create their own relational learning experiences.

Title: Tracking Transformation?

Beginning with a simple exercise used to develop or reflect on empathy, the session will consider ways in which we might include students’ emotional responses to sustainability education in assessments.

Title: Active Hope: Practices to support us in making a difference

This interactive workshop will introduce the "Active Hope" framework through experiential exercises. Active Hope is a model that acknowledges the multiple levels of crises in our world and supports our capacity to face the challenges and be a part of the solutions. We'll explore practices that support connection, emotional intelligence, communication and resilience, and point us towards useful actions (and resources) for ourselves and others.
