Security van outside security office

We have moved - Due to ongoing building works on Distillery road, the security office has temporarily moved. We are now located to Riverside Terrapin between 5 & 6 (Chaplaincy) Distillery Road.

The control centre is open 24/7 with security on patrol round the clock.

The Security team can assist you with access control, bicycle security, building locations, problem reporting, personal security, traffic management and key distribution (if you wish to request keys contact your Buildings & Estates Liaisons to log a request on Pemac or to follow up on a request already submitted.)

Bicycle Security

University of Galway security team would like to remind all campus users when cycling to the campus it is prudent to secure your bicycle here as you would anywhere in the city. It is advisable to use two locks at all times using different lock types to the value of 10% of the purchase price. All too often when bicycles or scooters are stolen, it is the quality of the lock that contributes to the theft. Bicycle racks and secure bicycle compound can be found at:
