Biography

I have a degree in Chemical Engineering by the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (Ecuador). After getting this degree, I worked for sixteen months in the Ministry of Environment of Ecuador, mainly monitoring the water quality of a Guayaquil estuary. I graduated as MSc in Environmental Sanitation at Gent University (Belgium) in 2018. My MSc. thesis was focused on assessing the potential of two Se-enriched biomaterials as micronutrient fertilizers.

Currently, I am Ph student focused on the treatment of Se-rich wastewater using constructed floating wetlands.
