Biography

Aoife is the Director of the MSc and PhD in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and Lecturer in Psychology (Behaviour Analysis). She is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst – Doctoral (BCBA-D) with over fourteen years of experience working in educational settings and disability services. Her primary interest is in the dissemination and integration of behaviour analytic and evidence-based approaches into educational settings. She has a special interest in Precision Teaching and accelerating learning for students at risk and in areas of socio-economic disadvantage.

Evidence-based approaches in education
Accelerating learning for students at risk and in areas of socio-economic disadvantage;
Academic interventions for children and adults with specific learning disorders;
Behaviour management strategies in schools.
Evidence-based teaching approaches and behaviour support for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Precision teaching and academic interventions for reading, writing, and mathematics.
