The University of Galway's Institute for Clinical Trials seeks to transform the clinical research landscape in Ireland by creating a comprehensive end-to-end programme supporting the development and delivery of clinical trials, from initial concept to reporting. 

Leveraging the academic strengths of the University and its healthcare partner Saolta, and building on the aggregate clinical research experience of our investigators, the institute will consolidate our resources, grow our expertise and achieve a step change in our impacts on patients. The Institute will also be the focal point for the development of sustained, mutually beneficial partnerships with industry partners further positioning Galway as the MedTech centre of Ireland and contributing to future economic growth and regional development.
