University of Galway would like to warmly welcome all our new international students. We are delighted to have you join our university community and we work hard to ensure the experience is everything you hoped it would be. 

Support services orientation will take place on Thursday, 5 September in the Bailey Allen Hall starting at 9.15am (sharp) and finishing at 13.00pm. At this session, you will receive information on health, immigration, Clubs & Societies, counselling, volunteering and more. There will be fun, spot prizes and a chance to meet other students worldwide. 

Note - this session is not mandatory for Undergraduate students as there is a specific event for you on 11 September, however, all international students are welcome to attend.

Undergraduate Students

Support services orientation will take place on Thursday, 5 September in the Bailey Allen Hall starting at 9:30 am and finishing at 13:00 pm. This is not mandatory for Undergraduate students but students are welcome to join.

Support services orientation will take place on Thursday, 5 September in the Bailey Allen Hall starting at 9:30 am and finishing at 1:00 pm.

Support services orientation will take place on Thursday, 5 September in the Bailey Allen Hall.

On Friday, 6 September the Academic Advisory sessions for all visiting students will take place.

Fáilte Mornings – 10.30-11.30 am daily, Monday 9  to Friday 14 September, Corrib Room, SULT. We’re inviting all newly arrived international students to pop by, have a tea/coffee and meet fellow students between classes.
