Biography

My research background is in molecular microbiology of both human and plant pathogens. I have also worked in Government testing laboratories as well as manufacturing industries specifically the medical device industry.
I joined NUI Galway in 2008 as a Senior Technical Officer for the Immunology and Transplant Biology Group and since June 2011 I have been employed as a Senior Technical Officer in the NCBES with responsibility of managing the Flow Cytometry Core Facility.
My specific area of technical expertise is flow cytometry and flourescence activated cell sorting.
