Biography

Lionel Pilkington holds a BA and MA degree (in English) from University College Cork, and a PhD (in Drama) from the Graduate Centre for the Study of Drama at the University of Toronto. He has worked as a lecturer in the Faculty of Cultural Studies at Sheffield Hallam University (1989-91) and was a Visiting Professor in English at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia (Canada) in 2002.
