Biography

Dr Reddington is a lecturer in Microbiology at NUI Galway and her research focuses on the development of innovative solutions for infectious disease diagnostics and public health microbiology. Of particular interest to her research group is the application of whole genome sequencing in clinical microbiology, both from human and healthcare environmental reservoir samples.

Dr Reddington is a member of the National Coronavirus Sequencing Consortium  and is a member of the HSE COVID19 Laboratory R&D Product Solutions Group.
