Orientation Information and Programme
The International Office at University of Galway looks forward to welcoming you to the new academic year.
Semester 1 (Autumn/Fall) Orientation 2023/24 will take place on the following dates:

| Academic Orientation | 8:30 am - 4 pm Friday September 1st (Bailey Allen Hall) |
Support Services Orientation consists of an overview of the following:
- library services
- computer services
- sports clubs and student societies
- student health
- counselling services
- banking
- student safety
- volunteering
- GNIB Registration (for Non-EU/EEA students)
Academic Orientation consists of an overview of the following:
- classes on offer
- prerequisites
- timetables
- venues
- examination arrangements
